Orchestra Practice Log for the 2022-2023 School Year
This is a full practice log for the 2022-2023 school year for your string orchestra students. This product has a full calendar of each day in the school year, along with a way to log practice minutes for each day, make practice goals, log the final practice amount, and write a reflection for the month. This practice log will help you and your students stay organized, and it is a very easy way to incorporate regular (and actually useful!) writing assignments in your music classroom as well.
This product comes with both a printable, and digital version (Google Slides) of the practice log. All you have to do is share the link provided with your students. The link will allow the students to “make a copy” of the practice log, so each student will get their own editable practice log. From there, your job is done! Have students keep track of their practice for each month, and turn in that month for a grade. Or, have them add you as a collaborator to their practice log, and then you can check their practice logs each month/week. This will also work perfectly for Google Classroom! Either way, your job of keeping students and you more organized will be much easier with this digital and printable practice log!

In my opinion, this is the best way to go, since all your data will be saved automatically when your students take the test.
Personally, I have always struggled to show good, valuable data for my orchestra students. It is so hard to find a valuable way to accomplish the task of showing growth in an orchestra classroom. I made this pre/post test to help teachers show growth, nail their evaluation meetings, and I wanted to make it incredibly easy to calculate the data.
